A structural survey is not enough
A survey tells you what is broken. It does not tell you what it costs to create the home you have in mind.
By Alexander Paul
A structural survey catalogues defects. That is valuable, but it is a snapshot of the past. What you actually want to know is something else: what does it cost to turn this property into your home?
Two different questions
Repair costs and development costs rarely align. A roof with ten years of life left will still be replaced if you convert the attic into a living floor. A survey does not account for that.
What we add
Spatial possibilities, an indicative renovation budget, risks in structure and permitting, and the expected total investment. So you know what you are taking on before you sign.
